Job Title -Network Engineer
Location - Harrisburg PA ,17101
Duration – 6 months or Extended.
Rate - Depends on Experience
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Ensure servers are updated with the latest patches and security updates.
- Assist in investigating and mitigating security incidents to protect network integrity and data security.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical (Cisco) and distributed virtual switches (VMware).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers (Cradlepoint) to ensure reliable network connectivity.
- Monitor the team's open backlog of support issues, prioritizing and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- VMware vSphere: 2 years of experience required
- Server Administration (Windows/VMware): 3 years of experience required
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft System Center Ops Manager: 2 years of experience desired
- Microsoft Endpoint Config Manager: 2 years of experience desired
- Cisco Networking: 2 years of experience desired
- Nessus by Tenable: 1 year of experience desired
- Firewall Administration: 1 year of experience desired
- Linux Administration: 1 year of experience desired
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under challenging deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical recommendations clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
