Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#.
  • Build and enhance web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core.
  • Develop and maintain databases with SQL Server / T-SQL, including recent work with Azure SQL.
  • Implement and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Utilize testing frameworks such as XUnit and NUnit; experience with Jasmine and Karma is preferred.
  • Work with ORM tools like Entity Framework and Dapper.
  • Implement containerization solutions with a preference for Docker.
  • Leverage cloud services in .NET, including Azure Functions, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure Container Registry, and Key Vault.
  • Develop responsive, mobile-first front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular (version 14 or greater); experience with jQuery and Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Utilize tools such as Visual Studio (VS2022), VS Code, Azure DevOps, and Git for development and version control.
  • Ensure digital products comply with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process.
  • Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of the "definition of done."

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in .NET Core and C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Core.
  • 8+ years of experience with SQL Server / T-SQL and recent experience with Azure SQL.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience with testing frameworks (XUnit/NUnit); experience with Jasmine and Karma is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework and Dapper.
  • 8+ years of experience with containerization and cloud services implementation in .NET.
  • 8+ years of experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion, including regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
  • Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and responsive, mobile-first development.
  • Experience designing for platform technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android).
  • Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices.
